Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun Myeongdong - Seoul

Ideal hotel, clean, with thoughtful staff who did an excellent job with our room and great service. Big bed, functional and stylish room. Location right by all the attractions, sightseeings and transportation and close to the metro station. Also, in an entirely different neighbourhood.

Location: the hotel was right by the business district as well as the Bukchon Hanok Village. It was short walk from Jogyesa Kitchen Seungso, where you can have lunch. The rooms were neat, functional, ideal for us. The bed was super, and there was a spacious bathroom...

The restaurant was modest and the breakfast was savoury and incredible with good options.

The hotel offers a great location and friendly staff, but the air conditioning situation could use improvement, especially during warmer months. Rooms are compact but cozy, with comfortable beds, making for a decent stay despite some cleanliness issues in the bathrooms.

Cozy room, comfortable bed, with the location being perfectly convenient as it's just 20 km from the nearest airport, and you have amenities like a fitness center and a tv nearby to enjoy after a day of exploring.

The room was very contemporary and comfortable, I really liked how cozy it felt at night! The neighborhood was fantastic, we found some delicious street food spots nearby, made the evenings enjoyable.

It wasn't exactly budget friendly but still decent.

The complimentary washer/dryer was a lifesaver for our family, but do watch out for the slippery bathtub. A local breakfast spot nearby offers a much better morning meal than what's available in-house. A great base for sightseeing!
